Aircraft Asset & Lease Management
End-to-end asset and lease management integrating technical oversight with financial performance tracking.

Optimizing Aircraft Value Across the Lease Lifecycle
Owning or financing an aircraft on lease involves managing two things simultaneously, the technical condition of the asset and the financial performance of the investment. The two are inseparable. Maintenance status affects residual value. Reserve adequacy affects financial exposure at redelivery. Utilisation affects the timing and cost of every major maintenance event.
Voler Haut Aviation provides asset and lease management that integrates both. We monitor the technical and financial position of aircraft throughout the lease term, model forward exposure, and manage the settlement process at lease end; giving owners, lessors, and investors a clear, current picture of where each asset stands.
We manage assets through a structured proprietary platform covering reserve tracking, utilisation monitoring, cash flow modelling, and end-of-lease settlement analysis.
Acquisition Underwriting & Deal Analysis
Before capital is committed, the numbers need to work on a fully loaded basis, accounting not just for lease income but for the maintenance cost exposure embedded in the asset's current technical status.
We provide acquisition underwriting combining lease income modelling, maintenance cost projection, residual value estimation, and return scenario analysis across multiple market assumptions. Our analysis covers IRR and NPV at different hold horizons, sensitivity to lease rate and utilisation variables, and the impact of upcoming major maintenance events on the acquisition price and financing structure.
The output is a deal model calibrated to the specific aircraft, its age, configuration, maintenance status, and market position, not a generic template.
Technical Asset & Lease Monitoring
Once an aircraft is on lease, active monitoring is required throughout the term. We track utilisation against lease parameters, monitor maintenance reserve balances, review maintenance records, and verify ongoing AD/SB compliance. We act as independent technical liaison between lessor and lessee, a neutral party with access to the technical data and the mandate to report objectively.
Mid-lease inspections are conducted at intervals agreed with the owner, providing a physical assessment of the aircraft's condition and a verified update of its maintenance status. Where deviations from the lease terms are identified, we flag them early, before they become disputes.
Maintenance Reserve (MR) Forecasting & Claim Management
Maintenance reserve adequacy is one of the most underestimated financial risks in aircraft leasing. Reserves collected on a flat monthly basis must be sufficient to cover the actual cost of major maintenance events, engine shop visits, landing gear overhauls, heavy structural checks, when they fall due across the utilisation profile of the aircraft.
We model forward maintenance exposure component by component, projecting the timing and estimated cost of each major event against the reserve balance at that point. This allows owners and lessors to identify adequacy gaps well in advance and make informed decisions about reserve structures at lease renewal or asset sale.
When a lessee submits a maintenance reserve claim, we audit the claim against the lease terms, verifying that the work qualifies, that the costs are reasonable, and that the documentation supports the reimbursement. This prevents reserve funds from being depleted by unwarranted or incorrectly structured claims.
End-of-Lease Settlement
End of lease is where the financial terms of the lease contract are reconciled against the physical condition of the aircraft. We manage the full settlement process, calculating maintenance-adjusted compensation based on the actual technical status of the airframe, engines, landing gear, and APU at return, quantifying EOLA exposure, and providing the technical data required to support or negotiate the financial settlement.
Where an aircraft is returned short of the agreed maintenance condition, we ensure the lessor's compensation position is accurately calculated and documented. Where a buyout or early exit is being structured, we provide the component-level analysis required for a defensible settlement on both sides.
