Aircraft Appraisal & Valuation Advisory
Independent, IVS-compliant appraisals of aircraft and engines delivering precise Base and Market Value opinions.

Accurate, Independent Valuation Services
Voler Haut Aviation conducts independent appraisals of commercial aircraft and engines in full conformity with the International Valuation Standards (IVS) and the Code of Ethics of the American Society of Appraisers (ASA).
Our appraisals are used in aircraft acquisitions and disposals, financing and refinancing transactions, portfolio audits, lease redeliveries, regulatory filings, and dispute resolution.
Base Value & Current Market Value
Base Value reflects the appraiser's opinion of the underlying economic value of an aircraft in an open, unrestricted, stable market environment, assuming a reasonable balance of supply and demand and an aircraft in average physical condition for its age. It is used primarily by financiers and lessors to assess long term asset worth independent of short-term market conditions.
Current Market Value reflects the price the asset would be expected to achieve in an actual transaction at the date of the appraisal. It accounts for the aircraft's specific maintenance condition, utilisation status, configuration, and the prevailing market environment for that aircraft type. Where the two values diverge significantly, the reasons for that divergence are material to the transaction.
We provide both, separately or together, depending on the requirements of the engagement.
Appraisal Methodologies
We offer three levels of appraisal engagement, determined by the scope of the assignment and the level of access to the asset and its records.
Desktop Appraisal A value opinion based on technical data, summary maintenance information, and current market analysis, without physical inspection of the aircraft or its records. Used for portfolio reviews, preliminary financing discussions, and situations where the general status of the asset is known and agreed.
Extended Desktop Appraisal Includes a detailed remote review of the aircraft's maintenance records and electronic logbooks, analysing remaining life on major assemblies, life-limited part status, and the timing of upcoming maintenance events. This produces a maintenance-adjusted valuation that reflects the aircraft's actual technical position without requiring an on-site visit.
Full Appraisal Involves physical inspection of the airframe, engines, cabin interior, and avionics, combined with a detailed review of the original physical records. This is the appropriate standard for major acquisitions, financing transactions, redelivery settlements, and formal regulatory or legal reporting.
Maintenance-Adjusted Valuations & Scenario Analysis
Aircraft value is directly linked to maintenance status. An engine approaching a major shop visit carries a significantly different value than the same engine post-overhaul. We incorporate the timing and estimated cost of future maintenance events into our valuation analysis, providing a net asset value that reflects the actual financial position of the aircraft at the date of the appraisal, not a theoretical average condition assumption.
We also provide sensitivity and scenario analysis, stress-testing the valuation across different utilisation rates, lease structures, maintenance cost assumptions, and market conditions. This gives investors and lenders a clear view of the range of outcomes and the variables that drive them.
Regulatory & Transaction Support
Our appraisal reports are structured for external use, formatted for auditors, lenders, institutional counterparties, and regulatory bodies. We provide appraisal support for transactions and filings under GIFT City / IFSCA frameworks, where independent IVS compliant valuations are required as part of the regulatory process.
